Partner Institutions
RM-AMP represents thirteen Colorado and Wyoming institutions of higher education as part of the National Science Foundation’s framework of colleges and universities that comprise the LS-AMP network. Partners include ten 4-year institutions and three community colleges. Within these thirteen institutions are two Native American-Serving, Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) and six Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) members.

Northern Arapaho Tribe
The Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming is located between the Wind River Range and Owl Creek Mountains. RM-AMP seeks to connect students from the Northern Arapaho Tribe to educational opportunities through our Central Wyoming College Site Coordinator, Jacki Klancher.

Louis Stokes Regional Center of Excellence for Wholistic Mentoring in STEM (WM STEM Center)
The Louis Stokes Regional Center of Excellence for Wholistic Mentoring in STEM (Louis Stokes WM STEM Center) is dedicated to advancing, curating, and disseminating evidence-based mentoring practices that consider diversity, equity, and inclusion as integral elements of the mentor-protégé experience. The WM STEM Center brings together academic, DoE laboratories and industrial partners from the Rockies and Southwest states. Focal areas of our research include bridge to the baccalaureate, internship, undergraduate research, and PAESMEM programs.

The Louis Stokes Midwest Regional Center of Excellence (LSMRCE) was created to communicate evidence-based program effectiveness garnered from the Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) consortium to a broader audience. LSMRCE serves as a national hub of information to disseminate best practices in broadening participation, STEM teaching, program development, and networked resources for the LSMCE and LSAMP community. RM-AMP is proud to be an affiliate of LSMRCE.

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) focuses on creative answers to today’s energy challenges. NREL advances the science and engineering of energy efficiency, sustainable transportation, and renewable power technologies and provides the knowledge to integrate and optimize energy systems. RM-AMP works to place students in internships and summer research positions at NREL.
