Colorado State University RM-AMP Student Nizhoni Hatch Named Truman Scholar Finalist

Nizhoni Hatch, a Colorado State University undergraduate and RM-AMP participant, is a finalist for the prestigious Harry S. Truman Scholarship, a highly competitive graduate fellowship program for students pursuing careers in government and public service. Hatch is among 199 finalists out of 705 applicants, representing 275 institutions this year.
Hatch, a junior in Biomedical Sciences and a 2022 Udall Scholar, is in the running for the $30,000 scholarship to a graduate school of her choice as well as a weeklong leadership training session with other winners and an internship opportunity in Washington, D.C.
