The University of Kentucky (UK) is now accepting applications for Bridge to the Doctorate (BD) Fellows. BD will provide two years of support for a cohort of 12 students from underrepresented populations who are pursuing graduate degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines at UK. This funding is provided through a grant from the National Science Foundation to the Kentucky-West Virginia Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (KY-WV LSAMP) program.
The University of Kentucky has dozens of STEM graduate programs. To learn more about each program, begin at https://gradschool.uky.edu/graduate-programs. You can learn more about BD including requirements and the application process from a news release and on the program website. A flier is also attached. Qualifying current UK graduate students as well as students who anticipate starting graduate programs at UK Fall 2020, Spring 2021, or Fall 2021 are encouraged to apply.
