Young Scholars Summer Research Program: Application opens January 1, 2025
The Young Scholars Summer Research Program (YSSRP) is a nine-week summer undergraduate research program hosted by the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. It includes support from an NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates site grant.
The mission of YSSRP is to spark interest and provide preparation for graduate study and/or a career in research through practical experience and professional development. This selective program is open to undergraduate students nationwide majoring in any field related to chemical and/or biological engineering (including all engineering, math and science majors). Prior research experience is not required, and applications from students at schools with limited research opportunities are welcomed. Students who identify as members of groups that are underrepresented in engineering are strongly encouraged to apply, but the program is open to all qualified applicants.
