Apply now for the 2025 Summer Research Initiative

The Rocky Mountain Alliance for Minority Participation (RM-AMP) has developed the Summer Research Initiative (SRI) opportunity for students that are enrolled in both two-year and four-year institutions, at a RM-AMP campus, in an NSF approved STEM undergraduate degree program. 

Students will be integrated into laboratories and research programs with direct mentor/professor supervision in both academic-year research, as well as summer research enrichment programs. As part of the SRI, students are provided housing (some programs require living on the participating campus) and a stipend. RM-AMP has established relationships with most of the existing Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) programs in Colorado and Wyoming, as well as additional programs.  Please see the Summer Research Initiative Lab and REU Listing below for eligible programs.
