RM-AMP on the Trinidad State College campus supports students with stipends to conduct on-campus research. Specific programs funded in conjunction with RM-AMP include: the Balloon Satellite Research project; aerial investigations using Drone Technology; Cadaver Anatomical Analysis; ecological research using bacterial populations; and the Trinidad State Robotics Team, where students learn programming, mechanical and electrical skills, design and testing of robots (currently, CLOEE aka Camera-controlled, Land-based, Optical, Electronic, Explorer), and travel to Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX, to present their robotic projects.
