Cryospheric Science Research Group at Colorado State University
The Cryospheric Science Research Group at Colorado State University (CSU) is recruiting a student to participate in a NSF-funded research project studying glacier change in Grand Teton National Park and beyond. The student would join a team of researchers at CSU, University of Utah and Occidental College for a summer of exciting research. The student will have the opportunity to learn cutting edge remote sensing skills and apply them to understand glacier mass balance changes in the recent past.
The student will be a member of the REU Program on Earth System Science in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at CSU.
The 10-week program runs from May 28 to August 2, 2024. The student will receive a $6000 stipend and $4000 housing/food allowance at CSU, as well as a $1000 travel allowance.
