CELEBRATING 75 YEARS AT ARGONNE: SUPERCOMPUTERS AND X-RAYS: Partnership event with C2ST

C2ST and Argonne National Laboratory are excited to kick off a 75th anniversary celebration partnership. This will be the first of many events happening in 2021 and will feature an interactive presentation from experts about the five user facilities at Argonne, and highlight two of them: the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF) and the Advanced Photon Source (APS). Both of which are used by researchers worldwide and were part of the ongoing research into COVID-19.

DECARBONIZATION WITHIN REACH: Director’s Special Colloquium Celebrating Argonne’s 75th Anniversary

For leaders across the globe determined to combat climate change, mitigation via decarbonization is key. Science, technology, policy, data, and other research realms will all contribute to a multifaceted approach that increases zero-carbon energy sources, reduces energy use, and advances carbon dioxide removal.
