Learn About Michigan Engineering’s EMERGE Opportunity

U-M Biomedical Engineering would like to share this invitation to apply to our Explore Michigan Engineering Research and Graduate Education (EMERGE) campus visit program, for students who are interested in pursuing a biomedical engineering PhD degree. 

EMERGE is an annual visit program where we introduce a diverse cohort of prospective students to Michigan Engineering doctoral programs during a free, three-day campus visit. The event will be held from October 19 – 21, 2023.

EMERGE participants will:

• Learn about Michigan Engineering’s full-funding model.
• Attend activities in their department of interest that will best prepare them to navigate the admissions process.
• Network with diverse deans, faculty, staff, students, postdoctoral fellows, and alumni.
• Tour world-class facilities across the broader U-M campus.
• Learn more about Michigan Engineering’s values and vision for equity-centered engineering.

The application for EMERGE closes on Thursday, September 21, and space for this selective program is very limited. Please apply as soon as possible.
