UChicago BSD Virtual Open House Events and Grad Application Resources
Throughout the fall UChicago Biosciences Graduate Programs will be holding Virtual Open House events where prospective graduate students can ask questions directly to our graduate students, administrators, and faculty. Some of these events are being run by individual graduate programs like Ecology and Evolution and the Committee on Immunology. These virtual programs are a great opportunity for your students to get direct face to face advice on how to write their grad school applications for UChicago BSD.
Please share the information about these events with your students and your networks. The goal is to lower the barriers to applying to grad school and eliminate this component of the hidden curriculum that disfavors students entering the academy from non-academic families.
