New Post-Baccalaureate Program (PREP) at University of Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus

Preparation in Interdisciplinary Knowledge to Excel (PIKE-PREP) is an exciting multi-dimensional mentoring and research training experience to prepare underrepresented post-baccalaureate students to enroll and succeed in a top-tier PhD or MD-PhD program and commit to a career in biomedical research.

This NIH-funded program will provide:

• A PAID year-long research experience in a biomedical research laboratory
• Individualized mentoring
• Structured guidance and help with application preparation for PhD programs
• Community-building social activities
• Graduate level courses, conferences, seminars, journal clubs
• Career development workshops
• Opportunities to attend and present at a national conference
